Meh.It wasn't for me.Jen was stupid and irritating, Colin was stupid and irritating and together they were even more stupid and irritating. The whole thing was boring and the end of the story was rough-and-ready.Maybe I'm just not in the mood for romance at the moment but really did not like it.

***ARC provided by Random House via NetGalley *** This was actually my first book in the series. I have to say that the first 2 blurbs felt typical, but something about this story sounds really intriguing. I loved the first two books in this series but I just couldn't connect to Colin and Jen. This is a complete book with HEA but I still felt things were missing and unresolved. I will continue with the series and am looking forward to the upcoming novella and Owens story.

While the book is part of Drew and Fable's series, the story was unique and entirely their own. While there were cameos of past characters, the focus remained on the bu...

As someone who has yet to read the previous titles from this author, but someone who is familiar with Drew and Fable I'm glad that this could be read as a standalone. Full review to follow for the blog tour.

Jen is Fable's best friend and works at the bar/restaurant called The District, which is owned by Colin. As we had learned in the previous books in the series, Colin and Jen grew up with each o...
