I just loved reading this book, it was a thrill ride from the start and had a little of everything, action, twists and a little romance thrown in.The story centers around Evy Stone who wakes up in a morgue in some one else's body and discovers she has 72 hours to find out who killed her, framed her ...

"Three Days to Dead" delivered more than I expected of it. The slightly clichéd title and garish cover set me up for a piece of supernatural light entertainment with a puzzle at its heart. The book turned out to be much, much darker, more violent and more thoughtful than that. The story centres ar...

When Evangeline wakes up in the morgue in another woman's body and with no memories of how she died she finds herself on the run from those who are hunting her, and searching for answers from other-worldy creatures who are reluctant to talk. With the help of her handler she needs to get to the bott...
A room without books is like a body without a soul
Also at http://books-soul.blogspot.co.at/: "In drei Tagen bist du wieder tot" wirft den Leser sofort mitten ins Geschehen und man trifft Evy bei ihrer Wiedererweckung im Leichenschauhaus. Ebenso ratlos wie sie versucht man, zu rekonstruieren, was eigentlich vor ihrem Tod geschehen ist bzw. wem sie i...

2.5 starsListening to audiobook. This book just wasn't for me. I never got pulled into the characters. The narrator wasn't for me either. She just didn't put any emotion into the voices and the non-dialogue parts are not well read, in my opinion.

Great book! I love how it was very fast paced and action-packed. Evy handled all of the chaos of her new life very well. She was great.

Evangeline Stone wakes up in the morgue naked on a table with no idea of she got there. If that were all that were wrong it would be terrifying, but Evangeline wakes up in the body of Chalice (could Meding have picked a worse name?) - a woman who recently committed suicide. What she does not know i...

2 stars equals it was okay and this book was just okay. I really tried to get into it but ended up going skim crazy just to finish it. The best scenes were the flashbacks. I agree that Evy's relationship with Wyatt is a "WTF". She doesn't love it but kind of lets him have sex with her and then r...

★★★★✰ (This is a review of the audiobook.) Xe Sands does a very nice job of reading this one. There are a lot of otherworldly voices, since the protagonist is a Dreg Hunter, which is like a paranormal creature bounty hunter. Vamps, trolls, Fey, weres, goblins, gremlins, gargoyles, gnomes – doesn’...
