I have to admit that we hadn't read the first two installments of the series. But, THRICE UPON A MARIGOLD didn't require you to have read the first ones. I love Phoebe's love and appreciation for words (as well as the certain man who uses them...)."Cogitable, thought Phoebe. Wow." Predictable and nothing spectacular but it is what is says it is: a cute fairytale caper. Phoebe and Sebastian are adorable.
