Tim Capehart has been writing since the second grade when he hid in a corner with a typewriter and banged out a tale of Superman a horse that ate hotdogs (a tale based in fact...the horse part at least). He has a Creative Writing degree from Miami University and a Masters of Library Science from University of Kentucky. He is a Children's Librarian and has been on the Newbery Committee twice (so far). He has written book reviews for nearly every magazine in Library-land that publishes them. Name one...go ahead...yep, he wrote for them! Still does! He also blogs frequently at timothycapehart.weebly.com when not working on a book. He lives in Dayton, Ohio with his partner Trent and two pretty fabulous felines who also write book reviews on his blog; cats have opinions too!
