Tim J. Finn (not to be confused with musician Tim Finn, whose actual name is Brian Tim Finn) was born in Boston and calls the Massachusetts Metro West area home. Always drawn to the horror field via movies and books, he penned his first story, an origin tale for the Aurora model kit The Forgotten Prisoner of Castle Mare, while attending religious middle school. The good nuns were thrilled with his choice of the horror/speculative fiction genre. He worked as a radio disc jockey back when DJs actually played vinyl discs. He has also been employed as a short order cook, office temp, copywriter, data entry clerk and front desk receptionist. Finn holds a BA in English from Grinnell College and is a member of the New England Horror Writers and the Horror Society.
