2.5 starsLike most short stories this one developed quickly. I didn't feel any emotional attachment for the MC's and the events unfolding occurred quickly. It was interesting learning about how Kilian became a shifter but the story just didn't grab me the way I wanted it to.
This was silly. And at times straight-up ridiculous. But there were a few moments that made me go "aw" or made me smile, and for that it gets 2 stars.The romance itself between Kilian and Donovan is rushed and unbelievable and without any spark whatsoever.
