My favorite sentient, "homicidal, psychopathic, starved, and power-hungry" book is back! :)Actually, when I first started reading I didn't know this novel was going to deliver the (partial) finale of the series; it became clear as I progressed and the thought alone put me in a cheerful mood, because...

3.5 helms Please follow me on my blog :) Review originally posted on Vellum Voyages (www.vellumvoyages.com) Our mysterious Grimm from the first book gets his story now and I was really excited to start it as he really piqued my curiosity from the first book! There is no time travel in this ro...

"Jillian, please." His voice was so low, it was almost inaudible. "Please what?" she whispered. Swiftly he flicked his wrist and she was standing before him, captured between his thighs. His eyes were fixed in the vicinity of her navel, as if he couldn't summon the strength to raise them. "Kiss ...

Gah! This was just painful. I'm so surprised that I managed to finish it. That probably had a lot to do with me having nothing else loaded to listen to on my drive to work and back. Plus, I liked the accents and visions of kilts (mmm, tasty.) This was about a brooding hero full of self-hatred ...

While I enjoyed the first book in this series I was a bit ambivalent about continuing on. I’m not really into Fae stories, which this series incorporates and there wasn’t anything to make the series stand out in my mind. The characters were funny and I enjoyed the interactions, but nothing really sp...

A bit better than the first one. Not as ridiculous as the last but still ridiculous in its own way. I don't get why the setup for the villains in this series is so poorly done. It was more than halfway through before somebody was poisoned and it wasn't until, with less than 15% to go, that the "vill...

I liked this one much better than the first in the series. I thought the story line was more compelling, the romance sweeter, the paranormal element more interesting. The first one sort of fell flat for me (though I still enjoyed it), but this one was much more enjoyable. Grim was such an honorable ...

Yeah this book was no better than the first one. I've decided to skip book 3 and move on to the good stuff, book 4 since I've heard that's where the series really starts getting good. Love Phil Gigante. He's the only reason why I kept listening to the audiobook.
