I struggled with this book at times. I liked the characters enough; but I didn't love them. The plot was good; but it wasn't great or new. I will probably continue to read the series when I have run out of books that I am dying to read. This isn't a series I will be rushing back to but its not terri...

Opening Line: "Even among the masses populating West Palm Beach, Florida, Nolan Garrett found hundreds of places to be alone." Jillian Kincaid is a TV anchor and the daughter of a wealthy businessman. Because of her father she grew up in the continual presence of bodyguards and hated it. Now when ...

This book was just as enjoyable as the Romantic Suspense books I've been indulging in lately. I'm in a phase that'll probably play out for some time.Again with the typical formulaic story lines that leave me wondering whether or not Romantic Suspenses are capable of NOT creating a damsel-in-distress...

DNF @ 9%Rolled my eyes A LOT.She's angry she throw tantrums to daddy dearest over the phone. She's angry she didn't get what she wants she throws her phone across the room. She's angry she just went ahead punch an innocent, she-just-met guy in the face. Seriously, are those necessary? Is this heroin...

Ehh... If I didn't like the characters I'd give it a 2 for the plot. I know they're completely different series, and therefore should not be compared, but it falls short of the Black Ops series. It just didn't hold my attention. Although, this was written prior to Black Ops so it just shows that Ger...

*Spoilers free review*I had this series on my TR list for at least 2 years. Bodyguards stories are not my cup of tea so I kept pushing it for later. The only reason I put it there to begin with is because I heard that the heroes of the firsts books of the Black Ops series make an appearance in this ...

This book annoyed me the most of the time. It was one huge clusterfuck of how they shouldn't, he couldn't, it was wrong and he was a bad man and yadda yadda. I liked the start and the end and that's it. I can't believe I actually managed to finish it. At least the writing style it self was ok.
Blacky's World of Rainbows and Unicorns
I could not put this book down :D Cindy Gerard is definitely going up on my favorite authors list. "How good are you?" she asked point-blank, bringing his head up from the counter where he was cracking eggs in a bowl. The sudden silence was so huge it felt like a physical presence in the room, electr...
