Hi, I'm Todd Fahnestock and I write fantasy novels to inspire and delight.Fairmist, set to release on February 27, is an epic fantasy novel, the first in The Whisper Prince series.I wrote my first novel in high school because I "wanted a fantasy book with even more action in it." Once I'd completed it, I was addicted. In college, I published my first two short stories in TSR Dragonlance anthologies which, being a huge fan of Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, was a dream-come-true and a fantastic introduction to the world of publishing. In 1997, I won the New York Books for the Teen Age award for True Love (Or the Many Brides of Prince Charming), written with Giles Carwyn. In 2006, Giles and I partnered up again to write Heir of Autumn under Harper-Collins' Eos imprint and hit the Denver Post bestseller list. Mistress of Winter and Queen of Oblivion followed, then I went solo again to work on Fairmist, The Wishing World, and Charlie Fiction.I currently live in a 115-year-old Victorian house in Englewood, CO with my wife, daughter, son, one big blue dog and one big red dog. I split my time between Tae Kwon Do, playing with my children, working at Rose Community Foundation, and crafting my first middle grade novel, The Wishing World.
