Todd Greanier (1968-) was raised in a small town in Western Massachusetts before moving to Upstate New York as a teenager. He has been writing poetry for over thirty years and has recently begun publishing books of poetry. He is the author of books on the NFL, computer programming and boxing.He believes poetry is important, though its place in our world today is quite different than times past. Influenced by Roethke, Bukowski, Frost, Whitman and Shakespeare, Greanier seeks to find that balance between spirit and form as he continues to write as often as his life allows.He lives with his wife and two boys in Upstate New York.
