A mystery sent at a Comic Con, sign me up. The best-selling point of this novel are the inside jokes about culture – the LOTR references, Star Wars, Cosplay. There are even some interesting points about how it is a Comic Con but most people seem to think that comics are no longer ...
Short stories about individual Avengers that do not really disturb the continuity. As one might expect, some are better than others in both the writing and the artwork. I only paid £3.50 for it so I can't complain but it's nothing special.
Book 2 Military cults, white supremacists and Don't Ask Don't Tell. Sounds like a perfect recipe for humor, right? In the context of this book, it completely is. Volume 2 of Quantum and Woody gives us some backstory on our main characters. It also gives us some very broad characterizations that wo...
I was surprised at how much I liked this. It has a nice amount of good hearted silliness, not, like "I'M BEING WACKY" wackiness (though that's a thin line). The start is slow, and the tension between the brothers is a little draawwwwnnn ouuuuttt, but I'd totally read the next one.
I understand this is a reboot of a series from the late 90s and early 2000s and if it was written half as entertainingly as this one is, I may have to look up some of the old volumes, because I really enjoyed this book. There's a goat. That apparently hulks out. Two brothers who lose their single father, only to find out that he'd been murdered. When they try to figure out why, and how, they end up exploding his lab. Not exactly awesome when you're father worked in a top secret lab, and that explosion giv...

Negalley review. First impression: Enough with the damn fake ads. I realize this is supposed to be campy and cheezy, but I think they’ve gone a bit overboard.Sparks Nevada- Not a promising start, I don’t like Wild West type stuff. Wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into when I downloaded this so...
