I liked this story. It was so different from that Assassins series and Toni Aleo created a hero we could fall in love with without his having hot sex with his heroine. I enjoyed the characters, the storyline and the setting and find myself desperate to see how the story continues next year.
A decent read, but ultimately not for me as too many things bugged me: The bad guy never feels really bad...like I kept thinking the mc's were going to find out they were wrong about him and the bad guy was someone else, someone truly evil...this bad guy sorta feels half assed. Also the heroine ...
LOVED IT! This is one of my faves from Toni! Loved these characters and wow! Declan, the sweet and shy Irishmen, hot! Amberlyn is just... such a great female character. Both will leave a mark. Full review to follow closer to the release date.
