Tony Nester has taught survival courses since 1989 and has worked with the National Transportation & Safety Board, US Marshals, FAA, and served as a technical consultant for the movie Into The Wild. His company, Ancient Pathways, LLC is the primary provider of desert survival training for Military Special Operations units from around the world. Tony is the author of seven books & three DVDs. He has been featured in the NY Times, Backpacker Magazine, Maxim, Travel Channel, NBC, and the Discovery Channel. He lives in a passive solar strawbale house in northern Arizona.
