The puns killed it for me. Absolutely murdered this book. I could give you examples but I don't have too, the book is littered with them. It's enough to drive a person to distraction.Plot wise, the mystery was interesting until the poor wrap up and thin motive. With the h/h I felt they were stock cha...

Quite some time ago I acquired this from the library, but at the time I hadn't time to read this, so when I saw it on the shelf once more I decided I needed to try it out, just to see if its as good as the reviews of this story I have read recently. This is the first time I have had a chance to read...

First in the Lords of Midnight Series. Steamier than I expected, with a hero & heroine who were both determined to ignore each other (which of course, is impossible), and a plot twist only they didn't see coming. Even with that though, it was entertaining, and the characters were strongly written....

If you ever decide to read this book, you should know that the first couple of pages shouldn't discourage you. I felt thrown right in the middle of a story and it was disorienting and confusing at first. And I had a WTF?? moment. But after that it got much better. MUCH BETTER!I really, genuinely lik...

I couldn't stop flipping the page and stayed awake to finish the last remain of the story. The book's a love story with some bits of mystery between Connor and Alexa. Connor Linsley, the...

Alexa is outspoken, independent and manages to get herself into a heap load of trouble. She takes on tasks that most women can't or won't even dream of doing, and does it with such flare. When the opportunity to visit London presents itself, she takes it. Connor has no idea what trouble is walkin...

A good historical romance story but moved too slowly for me. You can check out Khesley's 4.5 star review for this title at: http://readingbetweenthewinesbookclub.blogspot.com/2012/03/guest-review-too-wicked-to-wed-by-cara.html

Lady Alexa finds the life of a proper lady of the ton both boring and constrictive. But she finds ways to bring a little excitement into her life. Like dressing up in a man's clothes for a poker game among gentlemen. It's there she wins half of Connor's brothel from his drunk friend. Alexa and Conno...

drey’s thoughts:My oh my. Cara Elliott starts off Too Wicked to Wed with a visit to a certain house of ill repute… By the lady. Of course, she’s only there to look for her brother but what a way to cement Lady Alexa as a person who will do what she thinks is necessary to help those she loves, never ...
