I liked the idea (& probably would like the Cary Grant movie) but I was bored and that's not the ideal state of mind while reading a ghost story. I read halfway through and then flipped to the end, but then it was due back to the library and I wasn't interested enough to renew.
The movies are great. I'd love to read the book.
