And here comes another boy to swoon over... Kale is just so edible. Whereas Deznee was just plain annoying and I wanted to smack her at times. The story is also not so unique, plain old people with superpowers and government after them. So yeah, it's an okay book.

Solid 4.0 starsI really enjoyed this book. What's not to like? Relatively easy read. Plenty of action. Some interesting plot twists. Snarky protagonist. Hot love interest. Sticky love triangle. All my faves. If you're a fan of X-Men (which I'm not particularly, actually), then this should be right up ...

This isn't going to be a very long review because...there isn't a whole lot to say. It was one of those I finished only to find out what happened, but only on the most clinical level. And, to be honest, I skimmed a lot of it to get to there.Kale was a less likeable version of Adam from Blast from th...
