Well, this one was a lot of fun. I really liked Dez—her attitude, her personality, her ‘voice’. I loved Kale—his naivety, the simplistic way in which his character was writer and the dialogue of his that leant authenticity to his ‘innocence’. And I also enjoyed all the twists and turns. And here comes another boy to swoon over... Kale is just so edible. Whereas Deznee was just plain annoying and I wanted to smack her at times. The story is also not so unique, plain old people with superpowers and government after them. So yeah, it's an okay book.
