IIIII don't know. I liked parts of the book and then I didn't at the same time. I have heard that a lot of people have problems with Cassie.. and I didn't. I actually kinda liked her for the most part. The men were fine. Nothing spectacular and there wasn't really one singular love interest. The...
There's a lot of telling instead of showing. The reader has to wade through a compilation of infodumps. Especially in the first half of the book, it gets progressively better towards the end. A recipe that most fantasy lovers would drool over. So where did this book go wro...
This grabs you and I read it quite quickly but it leaves a certain amount of dissatisfaction behind. There just isn't enough in the story to be great, and the sex seems almost pasted in. It's almost a toned down version of Anita Blake. Fans of that series would probably like this one.
