Tracy DeVore has been writing for many years, is the founding president of the Indiana Horror Writers (IHW), and Gothic Romance Writers, Inc. ("GothRom").Besides a passion for historical fact or fiction, Tracy is also an accomplished cook, an avid pool player, and is devoted to vintage sci-fi and horror movies, Universal monsters, The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, the original Planet of the Apes movies, The Martian Chronicles, Dark Shadows...the list goes on and on.Tracy is also the Senior Editor for Belfire Press and proofreads for the HWA newsletter. In the past, she has edited for Wordbeams Publishing, Lachesis Publishing, Sinful Moments Press and Mountain Valley Publishing, along with freelance editing for several individual authors.Tracy grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana ("the back forty of the Indy 500 was my back yard") and now lives in East-Central Illinois with her husband, a 9-year old mountain cur and a feisty calico kitty.
