I really liked the characters in this book. Julia was what she was supposed to be. She was the brow beaten, plump daughter in a family of beautiful people; and she'd grown up being told exactly what her place in life and the family was. And she believed it, because she'd been told it so many times....

I loved this book... except for the epilogue... Otherwise it would have been 5 stars ... REALLY disappointed in the epilogue.. It gets a WTF from me.. Oh well.. can't win 'em all.I will be reading this author again :) PS Jake is in my top-all-time-best-hero list.. He's not perfect but he's lovin...
