This was a pretty sweet read. Both characters were likable, there is really no angst, and it's insta-love. I wish it had been a bit longer though as I felt the murder mystery sort of wrapped up rather lackluster, and without a lot of explanation.Overall I enjoyed it though!
I tend to not like short stories and novellas, since it's really hard to get a lot into a story that's less than 100 pages long. I'm really glad to say that Thea Harrison managed very well with this book - good characters, a simple but interesting plot.
