Another good read from Ms. Krentz. I enjoyed the main couple's (Grace and Julius) relationship develop. I mentioned in another review that I'm at a point in my reading life right now where I prefer low angst romances, and this one fit the bill. There was the overall mystery/threat happening, but thi...
Grace Elland finds her boss dead and now she's without a job, again, and it appears that the killer is fascinated with her. I enjoyed it and also enjoyed how the main character has trauma that doesn't just dissolve in the face of love, but that the understanding of the man she loves helps her.
This was a solid 3 rating read for me.It was like old times for JAK, suspense, no magic, and all about the romance. Overall the story was well written and advanced at a nice pace.Still, just like her recent effort 'River Road' this feels like a draft that was written some 15-20 years ago and recent...

Some reviewers accuse all her books of b...
I liked this for the mystery more than the romance, although I did like both Grace and Julius. I just think the romance was sort of an afterthought. It's worth a read though.Reviewed for Affaire de Coeur Magazine. http://affairedecoeur.com.
