2.5 stars? I don't know... Parts of it were better than the first one, but I was more annoyed with this story. And mostly? I really hate having a love triangle introduced when the couple is already involved.

I think I liked this one better than I liked XVI, although I'm assuming that Karr must be planning a 3rd, because there was pretty much no closure to much of anything.
I had read Julia Karr's XVI a while ago ecstatic that there was a sequel. I was dying to know what sold happen to Nina now that she got her tattoo and knew the truth. Even better than XVI, which I loved.
This is a good example of the second book in a series winning me over and making me want more. I wasn't convinced by XVI; it had really good ideas but the execution wasn't quite there for me. This takes the idea, fleshes it out, and runs with it much more.Review this week. :)
