Easy and simple read. I liked but didn't love it. Felicia wasn't as interesting as I thought her to be. The edge was missing. The kid storyline was unexpected but rather good.

Felicia Swift never dreamed she'd hear a deep, sexy voice from her past in tiny Fool's Gold, California. The last time Gideon Boylan whispered in her ear was half a world away…on the morning after the hottest night of her life. Her freaky smarts have limited her close friendships, and romance, but s...

Another nice visit to Fool's Gold! I didn't love this book as much as some of the others in the series. There were places where it felt like it was merely a placeholder for the next installment, with too much involvement with other characters who are going to have their own stories. Also, I would ha...

Again, the setup for the next several books dominate the story. I felt the falling in love aspect of the story was more of an afterthought for the characters.

She reminded me of the character TV character Bones.Felic...

Reviewed for: Lets Get RomanticalDefinitely one of my favorite books of the series! This book was all about Felicia! It was impossible not to love her. She is quirky, caring, social awkward and just so giving. All she wants is to be normal but her upbringing and her intelligence make that impossible...

Review posted on Dark Faerie Tales. It’s not a surprise that I’m a fan of Susan Mallery’s. Most of her stories are easy to connect to. A strong woman, in her own right, meets a handsome man with his own strengths and weaknesses. Usually a romantic relationship develops, and there are hearts flutterin...
