I was born in Washington, D.C. I am a mother and a grandmother, they are my life. I have always enjoyed reading, but writing became a passion of mine in high school literature class when the teacher had us write short stories for a number of class projects. I had no idea I would enjoy it so much. After many years of working in the child care field and obtaining the education needed to own my own childcare center, I decided to try to write a book and three months later, my first book was complete. I only wrote as a hobby, but the more I wrote the stronger my love for writing grew. My family and my friends believed in me and it was their belief that encouraged me to pursue my hidden dream of becoming a published author. Faith and prayer is what gave me the courage to submit my work and now I am living my dream. My advice to anyone out there with a dream is to never give up and keep striving for success no matter how many people try to discourage you. Thank you for reading my book and getting to know me.
