This and the previous SW comics were freebies. It was okay, but Stine got a little too cheesy and the real interest was in Ted being a human trapped in Man-Thing's body and the horror that comes along with no one accepting him. Had Stine focused more on that in a more nuanced way, I would have e...

It was a good thing I looked at the first volume of Adventure Time Eye Candy last, because after Ajin, Harrow County and the Witcher I needed something sweet to take my eyes and my mind off bloody death and disturbing haints. Ajin Demi-Human Kei is just a regular high school student. Until he...

After the events in the first volume, has peace returned to Harrow County, and Emmy is using her powers for good. But peace is shattered when a girl arrives from the city. A girl that looks just like Emmy... I liked the first volume quite much, but this one was even better. Emmy's story was establis...

So the podcast that I listen to about all things comics, Panels, named this comic one of their favorite horror based series. Since then, I've been meaning to read it! I saw the first issue for .99 so I snagged it, and gave it a shot. Let me tell you, I can definitely see why this is probably going t...

The first volume of Harrow County was a treat. I admit that it took some time for me to warm up to how the characters were drawn, but after a while and together with the beautiful watercolor backgrounds did I quite start to like how the characters looked. The story was good, Emmy a young girl is t...

Effectively comprising a massive battle between the good and evil sides with the six guns as the spoils for the victor, Volume 7 in Cullen Bunn's series is a fast-paced roller coaster ride from start to almost-finish as numerous characters fall, others make momentous decisions, and the true nature o...

Bad Blood by Jonathan Maberry is yet another vampire comic. However, I was instantly drawn into the story of the two friends, Trick and Kyle, once so alike in their health, until Trick is diagnosed with leukemia. Before the first vampire even appeared I was invested in these characters, so it suck...

Becky and Drake have five of the six guns and they also have General Humes body. And they are on a train travelling to a safe place. What are the odds for them to be attacked? Quite high! A necromancer sends dead people to try to retrieve the body of the General and if that is not enough, Becky and...

Just a fantastic collection. The first half is really good, but the back half is just amazing. Harren goes all out for one of the best monster battles in comics, ever. Definitely recommend it even if you aren't caught up to this point, just to see his art.

A-mazing. Crook just kills it and the whole thing is creepy and wonderful. Love more Johann "screen time".
