I went on vacation at the end of October, read a surprising amount on the trip, and stopped reviewing books here. To be fair, booklikes was having issues before and after I left, so even when I was trying to review books I couldn't. So I'm catching up now before the end of the year. I enjoyed Esi...

Read for a challenge - read a child favorite.I remember I loved this book when I was little - even did a book report about it. I do see now that I'm older, that it's not exactly decent of him to lie to a gullable older lady to trick her into falling in love with him, but it's still cute :)

The combo Roald Dahl- Quentin Blake can't do no wrong. It could be either about a child or about an old man, like in this case. It is a book for children, but there are no children in this story. The drawings are as cute and funny as ever.
