I found this book to be boring and hard to get into...until Betsy and Laura started traveling through time. Once that happened, I couldn't put the book down.I found it really interesting that Betsy was the reason she had the life she did. I liked that she set in motion Tina and Eric coming into her ...
I have read these books happily enjoying the frivolity and blondness of Betsy; but I have to say thata this was my least favorite so far. I understand the need to grow the characters, but wow, I did not like where this book went...and the end about killed me. I am moving on to book 10, but I have...
Yes, I know this book has a lot of bad reviews due to the not so gentle reminder of books pasted. Nevertheless I must say that personally- I think it is her best and she has opened hard plot lines that can keep the series going and guess what????? Bets will have to do some quick growing and not bein...
Wow. Finished this morning. I was really thinking that I was losing interest in this series, but this book changes the whole thing. The author warned us, didn't she? That she would change the direction. But I didn't realize. I'm ready for the next one.I admit to being annoyed by Betsy's consta...
I would have given this 4 stars but Betsy's rambling got on my last NERVES!But still, once Betsy and Laura got going it got better. I still don't know if I got the end just right in my head but I'm curious to see where this is all going in the end with the Book of the Dead and all that.
2 stars, 3 stars, 2 stars, 3 stars. I'm on the fence. The first third of the book moved very slowly. The middle picked up speed, but seemed to be going nowhere. And the last 1/4 was just plain depressing. It was so depressing that I went to the author's website just to make sure there would be ...
2.5 Stars. I knew what I was getting into when I started this book. MJD received so much backlash and hate mail about it that she posted a recent blog entry defending, apologizing? and explaining it. But I was STILL not prepared for the massive MASSIVE "WTF" moment in the epilogue. It was creepy...
Just when I didn't think it could get any stranger, it did. I think I'm done with this series. While I love Ms. Davidson's snarky sense of humour, I'm a bit tired of Betsy. There is very little growth for her. She's the same slightly immature awkward girl. I can only take so much of it.
