I love Cat Clarke's books, really. I think I just expected too much from this book. Also I didn't like the characters at all, except Kai, even though he's dead. I mean, this guy is perfect. I didn't like Jem at all, because all she wanted really was to blame certain people for what happened. It wasn...
Undone is a pretty heavy and definitely compelling book that deals with teen suicide, bullying and the teen gay community. It was well written and engaging. That being said, I can't say that I really liked the story. It was a bit depressing at times. I also thought the story was a bit unbelievab...
This book cemented a fact that I already knew.Books about crazy vicious teenage girls obsessed with popularity and where everyone seems to be backstabbing anyone is NOT my cuppa tea. Books like Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girls, and of course Undone. So this may not be a bad book but is a book I hat...
Full review also posted here on TotalTeenFiction.I really enjoyed Entangled by Cat Clarke which I read a few months ago, so I was super excited when I won a copy of this book! Undone follows Jem Halliday whose best friend Kai has just commited suicide after being outed as gay in a video posted onlin...
I have to be honest - I had some major problems with Undone. This novel tells the story of Jemima, Jem for short. Her best friend, Kai, has just committed suicide as a result of anti-gay bullying, and she is left behind. She is at the end of her rope when Kai's sister delivers a package to her. ...
This book started off really interesting, and I was getting excited about the Mean Girls-esque plotline, but unfortunately the story just didn't impress me as much as I hoped it would. Props to Clarke for that protagonist dying ending though!
Review: Jem loves Kai. Kai doesn’t love her back, because he’s gay. She’s ok with this. Fastforward a few years, when he gets outed via internet video, and he receives a lot of hate mail. And he kills himself. A month later, Jem is ready to do the same, when she receives an envelope. It’s a year’s w...
I started this book because the blurb sounding interesting. The book also started in a good way, it was quite interesting and nice to read. But it soon started going down when our main character started changing herself. Also didn't really like the ending, I am sad she picked that as an option.
