2.5 *... This one took a bit to get through. The first one had great world building and really made me "see" Wonderland and everything else. This one? Not so much.

This review can also be found at LostBetweenThePages & Goodreads. "All I have to do is set the power free. Escape the chains of humanity, let madness be my guide. If I forget everything but Wonderland, I can become beautiful pandemonium.”Alyssa Gardner has been down the rabbit hole, faced the trut...

Darker and twistier than the first entry in the series, but set in the real world, so a much different tone. More urban dark fantasy romance than Wonderland-chaotic madness. Sets up for next book, so 'pro-tip', get your hands on Book 3 before starting...

AHHHH I enjoyed Unhinged tho I would choose the setting of Splintered any day. I miss the insane, bizarre world that is Wonderland...
WackyAki's Books: The Good, The Bad, The Horrendous
It's so hard to write the second in a series or trilogy and make it as good as it's preceding novel. I think this is the only second novel I've read that I actually liked and can say is as good as the one it follows. If you liked Splintered, then you will like Unhinged. I would say my only bon...

The fact that I don't remember actually finishing this book means a lot. Luckily I have some notes from my book journal to help me write up this review. Allysa's voice gets boring. There's barely any excitement from her or the plot itself. Some of the scenes were just written poorly. They're confus...
