I hate to say it, but I'm almost glad that there are only 4 books in this series. I like this series, really, but I'm sick of the series that can get to 10-20 books and still be going. Limits, people, limits! I understand that people keep buying the books, but if every author that I read wrote 2 ser...

The second book in Outcast Season series finds Cassiel and (her potential love interest) Earth Warden Luis Rocha following trails of more missing children; children with amazing Warden powers that are trained by evil Pearl, to kill anything that stands her way. This time, they have the help from unl...

This book felt very much like a placeholder as far as action goes, with the main characters moving from one assassination attempt to another in rapid succession. The best feature of the book is the continuing relationship between Cassiel and Luis, Caine did a good job of depicting Cassiel's awarene...

I've said it before but I'll happily say it again - I'm a massive fan of Rachel Caine's Weather Warden series, in fact I'd rate it right up there amongst my all time favorite urban fantasy series for it's fast paced, action packed, unique story lines and fantastic well drawn out characters. Of cour...

I think I like these better than the Weather Warden series, but I think that's because I'm now use to the world. Plus, Caine doesn't spend as much time focused on manipulation of particles. She just tells you what happened rather than how and it keeps the story moving at a faster pace.I'm not loving...

Cassiel is learning what it's like to be human and all the feelings that come with that. Love this series!www.ktbookreviews.blogspot.com

This book was just as good as the first one. Cassiel is a smart, tough and flawed heroine. Her desire to save humanity instead of destroying it felt genuine. Her emerging romance with Luis was just the right touch; it wasn't the main focus of the story, but simmered nicely in the background. There w...

Carrying on with my run of Rachel Caine was the second in the Outcast Season, with our fallen djinn Cassiel. I'm not going to say too much about the plot because it will be spoilery but I don't know if I like the police being so involved all the time. Cassiel is one of the most unique main character...
