by Victoria Aveyard
Started off very slow, but got better for the last third. Picked up steam and closed on a high note. Looking forward to the fourth book.
It's going to be a very long wait till February 2018... 😬😩
Another dystopian YA novel in a similar vein as The Hunger Games or The Selection yet wholly different. A very well written and enjoyable series.
Actual rating: 2.5I usually have a hard time with a second book in the series. Not that nothing happened in this one, but I think the writing went downhill on this one. The concept is awesome. 4.5*I liked this book even more than Red Queen! There are more side characters which are awesome and you get to read a lot more about Shade, Farley and Cal. This book is full with action and twist, there is just so much betrayel, it's mindblowing! And the ending, wow! HOW DO WE WAIT ANOTHER YEAR?!!
