Very enjoyable read. Cunning plot and compelling characters. The first half drags (Margaret's ruse goes on much too long), but the last third of the book hums along. And thank you, CM, for an epilogue where the heroine is not blissfully pregnant.
This was an enjoyable read but there was a little too much repetitive introspection which kept it from getting a 4 o 5 star. I would rate it a 2.5. The plot wasn't very involved and the heroine, Margaret kept having the same internal argument over and over again. The book could have been 5 chapters...
