ABOUT ME "If I was forced to describe my style I would say I write about the fantastical rooted in everyday reality. I never did like the tales where the heroine always had smooth legs on a deserted island and the hero never so much as scratched his butt or picked his nose. Real life can be infinitely interesting and imperfect." -- Vaun I have a passion for literature and I have been reading and writing little projects of my own since I was about seven or eight years old. I call Lubbock, Texas my home but I grew up military, moving all around until I was thirteen. There is no way in the world I could do anything I do without the love and support of my family and friends. The Weaver Series came from my thirst for knowledge, my passion for science and how those needs often collide with how the world really is as opposed to how I wish it was. You can contact me at vaun.murphrey@yahoo.com. I have links to both my twitter and facebook accounts on the Home page: www.vaunmurphrey.com. My profile images were taken in 2014 by Sam Norman, a local photographer and friend.
