Every time I read Kim Fielding, I get something totally different. No two stories read the same. No two stories feel the same. I kept waiting for the PNR twist here, but it never came. As much as I liked Jeff, I loved Cleve. He was a liar and damaged and in trouble. *sighs* I distrusted him so...

It was cute, nice, quite good, really made me want to go to Italy, and then completely WTF. It was all action-thriller-y and, following the first part, kind of a non sequitur, almost. Still, I did rather like it, and I thought the two of them together were kind of adorable and stuff.

Took me awhile to actually start to read this book and I'm not sure why. It moved quickly, had well developed characters and exotic locales! It was an insta-love book, which I generally don't enjoy and the ending kinda get tied up too neatly but I got a HEA. So it's all good. I'm an official Kim Fie...

"...But I like the adventure of masks. You never know what is behind them."I don't know what it is about Kim Fielding that makes me automatically click "buy" on ARe, thus saving me 2 minutes that could be spent reading her books. It's like a reflex: don't think, just do. And I think a huge reason wh...

I honestly don't know why I postponed reading this for months before I picked this up. Maybe because I got wrong impression from a couple of reviews I read. But, I am glad that I finally read this. One thing that I loved the most was the sense of being away from your home. I loved how Jeff decided t...

There is a lot to this book, and having only read it once, I have a feeling I missed some things.A lot of this story is hidden at the beginning and we learn about Cleve slowly. He seems very mysterious at first. What I like about Jeff is that he is not stupid. He clearly realizes that Cleve is ly...

2.75I found Jeff completely charming but it took me a while to warm up to Cleve. This was a beautiful postcard of Venice but the romance was a bit shaky for me even though it did play out sweetly.
