As I read about Dewey, I thought about the cats that I have had over the years. Dewey playfulness, his curiosity and the way he seemed to read the emotions of others, sounded like some of my own furry friends that I have had. He had somehow landed in the perfect spot many years ago, finding his fore...

I think Vicki Myron is a good writer, but honestly I wasn't in the mood to hear a lot of background. I got enough of it to know how significant Dewey was to the library and to the ...

A very slow read, but the story was very sweet. Sometimes a little dry and boring, but it's about a library cat, so what do you expect? lol All in all, I loved it. It made me cry.

As soon as I finished reading Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World, I immediately jumped into the sequel (a good sign, I think!). And in the introduction I came across the following quote, which really represented the first book to me:“People appreciate Spencer, Iowa. They like ...

This is a wonderful collection of stories inspired by readers of Vicki Myron's other book and is filled with the healing properties that animals can bring to your life. Several of the stories really touched my heart, especially Spooky which tells the tale of a Vietnam vet who is suffering from undi...
