As far back as I can remember, I've had a vivid imagination and have been writing down what my brain has been dreaming. Whether it was about far away fictional places or interesting people, my thoughts have always seemed to find their way to paper somehow. As I got older, I realized writing was something I really loved and over the years, have found myself involved in the writing realm in one way or another even when my occupations did not directly relate to the field. I always managed to end up as a newsletter editor or brochure designer or hearing "can you write an article about..." for one employer or another. Even my extracurricular activies would find a way to weave my writing into it somehow.I've founded and presided over writers groups, have been a member of handfuls of writing clubs...but in the end, it's the writing itself that has made me happy. I haven't collected multi-million dollar book deals (though it would be nice) and I've never seen my name on a best seller list, but I still have hope for all that.
