I'm a novelist (The Bone Weaver), a university instructor (teaching Personal Essay in the UCLA Extension Writers' Program), and am one of three authors/instructors who make up WriteTeachers, the others being memoirist Barbara Abercrombie and mystery writer Anne Perry.
