Reread it by mistake: didn't realize until halfway through. Oops. Really enjoyed it anyway as so much happens.It's a real heartbreaker in places. Wellington's great victory is hard to celebrate when Nelson is lost. (And Novik's quick summary of Nelson is excellent.)

This is the fifth book in Novik's series set in an alternate Napoleonic era where dragons are part of the military, following on from Empire of Ivory, though these are not sufficient to make me stop reading!
The Temeraire books get progressively more excellent. This is the best yet!
