Virginia Aronson was born in Boston and worked as a nutritionist there before turning her full attention to writing. She coauthored several nutrition books and wrote for Runner's World while working at Harvard School of Public Health. The Executive Chef at the White House then asked her to coauthor his memoir, The White House Family Cookbook. After relocating to South Florida, she broadened her focus to include writing for young readers, poetry and fiction. Virginia has published more than 30 books, over 100 poems and short stories.
