May have spoilers, I'm not sure :PI enjoyed reading this book. But I felt that trying to tackle the subjects of addiction and rehabilitation and imaginary friends or whatever made it fail. I say this because there wasn't enough of each subject: it is a book about a man recovering from his addition t...
Ok so there's 'not what I expected' and then there's 'Holy cow where did that come from?' and I say this in a good way because if someone had told me about this book I would have said "Yeah right, I am so not reading this, it's too unbelievable and reminds me of another book that I read which left m...
I really liked this whole thing, but it's really the epilogue that makes the whole story worth it. Oh my god, perfect.
Very sweet. My mind is still a little boggled by the metaphysical implications. This book definitely falls under the "interesting-weird heading.Actually, I'm not really sure what to say. It's complex, multi-faceted, yet seems diabolically simple. Like the a sort of "What is it?" "It is." pseudo-para...

However, I felt the story had too many central points, in...
First off the only thing that saved this book from one star doom was the epilogue. I didn't care for this story and I am finding it hard to explain why. The best way I can say it is it felt like that horrible moment when you get to the end of a book and the last lines are "it was all a dream".
Such a wonderful and unique story. That ending killed me! Loved it.

In this, the supernatural comes in character of Denny, who is Chris's imaginary friend, and returns to Chris's life after he breaks his relationship with heroin. The story is written from two point of views: Chris's, using 3rd person...
I really enjoyed this book! Chris is a recovering drug addict, making his way back into the world alone, having been disowned by his family for being gay.As a young child he had an imaginary friend Denny, who even when he was no longer wanted, kept watch over Chris. Now that Chris is clean, Denny is...
