by Anthony Heald, Timothy Zahn
I have enjoyed Timothy Zahn's Star Wars novels, and I enjoyed this one. My only contention with it is that Zahn is unable to write romance. The 'romantic' scenes between Luke and Mara are stiff and awkward, which is a shame, because I think Luke finally getting a girl deserved a bit more than that. ...
I wasn't a big fan of the Thrawn trilogy. I thought Zahn's prose was awkward throughout that series. Still, I decided to read this one, since I already had it, and it was much better! It was very well-written, and the story drew me in. I look forward to reading "Vision of the Future".
