I am the Editor-in-Chief of CONTROL magazine (www.controlglobal.com), the leading magazine for process automation and control, and a Principal of Spitzer and Boyes, LLC, an engineering and strategic management consultantancy. I am a fan of Science Fiction, have sold a short story to Baen which was published in the anthology _Ring of Fire_, read history, business, politics and social science books, and I write a lot. To give back to society I work with nonprofits, and am a founder of CorgiAid, Inc. the foundation in aid of rescuers of Welsh Corgi Dogs, as well as ReadAssist (www.readassist.org).
