Walton Mendelson (1948-) is a writer, musician, and artists. Born in Cleveland, he now lives in Arizona. Both his parents wrote (Tender Loving Greed, The Intruder, The New World), and at the age of thirteen he wrote his first book, a variation on Lord of the Flies, which mercifully was destroyed shortly after the completion of page 63. One review of his music (The Music of Frederick Sommer, Nazraeli Press) said that it "My comment is: bravo! The music stands up to the best of 20th century avant-garde composers like Philip Glass and Steve Reich," Rain Taxi Review of Books. His art work has been shown in galleries around the world. His next project is to figure out how to integrate gainfulness into his work.
