Meh. This kind of dragged in a few spots, had something interesting, dragged, interesting, wait, that's the end? Seriously. Will maybe read the next. If I remember.
Yet another Shannara book...this one was actually pretty good. It felt more "old school" Terry Brooks than some of his other more recent works. What can I say -- I'm a sucker for elves.
Rip-roaring adventure straight through. The book is filled with Druid magic, spaceships, Elves, Dwarves and Gnomes - and a ton of references to the previous Shannara trilogies. You don't need to have read the trilogies to enjoy the book, but it helps. Brooks has paced himself well, this new beginnin...
