Warwick Fox is a philosopher, low-key singer-songwriter-guitar-player, and sometime dramatist. He has published widely in environmental philosophy in particular, has since moved on to argue that we need to develop a "General Ethics" (by which he means "a single, integrated approach to ethics that encompasses the realms of interhuman ethics, the ethics of the natural environment, and the ethics of the human-constructed, or built, environment"), and is the originator of the "theory of responsive cohesion" approach to General Ethics. His books include: "Toward a Transpersonal Ecology" (1995), "Ethics and the Built Environment" (ed. 2000), "A Theory of General Ethics" (2006), and, most recently, a very different kind of book: "On Beautiful Days Such as This: A philosopher sings the blues and restores his soul in Greece."
