I like this book a lot, but not as much as when I first read it. I was younger then, and awed by anything fantastical. Now I'm able to see the flaws: the writing was thin, and it was a bit slow starting up, and some of the characters needed help.Still, this book is definitely good. It's charming. An...
Medieval fantasy has always been a favorite genre of mine. I guess this started with Tolkien and Lewis, and ever since I've loved this type of book. The Sword in the Stars has been recommended to me by several friends for several months, so I decided to finally give it a try. I was immediately ca...

Now, in my opinion, the book doesn't get very good until Aidan enters a place called The Re...
