This is a grim little story about animal testing, taken to the extreme. Morrison made me weep for these three animals - the titular WE3 - more than once. It's a thoughtful examination of what man will do in his own name, and in the name of war. And while it was excellent, and I blew through ...

So... yeah. Let me premise why I picked this up in the first place, shall I? Somehow we got on the topic at work about animal cruelty. I don't remember how, to be completely honest. What I did remember, was that my comic loving co-worker mentioned that Grant Morrison had done a very brutal comic all...

A fantastic story of the bravery of animals, non-stop and sad at the same time. A tale of the resilience of spirit and love.

I could almost love this graphic novel. Almost. But not quite. The concepts involving animal rights/testing are dear to me, and I found the story intriguing all the way through. The art design and some of the panels were also quite good, though I wasn't a huge fan of the art style itself. Still, som...

The art was pretty good and I liked the characters, but I found it a bit challenging to read. I think I was also expecting something different.

I'm usually a fan of depressing stories, but We3 was too much for me, and I suspect might be too much for any animal lover. It's heartbreaking, and that's the only way I can classify it. Not good, not bad, just heartbreaking. If I could, I would probably go back and un-read it, because it's a sad th...

This is a great graphical novel, with an amazing plot, stunning drawing and rather interesting "characters". The only minus point is that it's a little too short, just around the 100-page mark for all 3 volumes combined. But it's a good read, recommended for fans of quality graphical novels.
