Lottie just knows that her boyfriend is going to propose, but then his big question involves a trip abroad—not a trip down the aisle. Completely crushed, Lottie reconnects with an old flame, and they decide to take drastic action. No dates, no moving in together, they’ll just get married . . . right...
I listened to this book during my commute. At first I was a bit Leary because of the not so stellar reviews, but I ended up enjoying it because it was almost like a bbc serial.
The actual couple spent the majority of the book apart, but I have to say I love the growth between Richard and Lottie in any case.I also happened to really like what developed between sis Fliss and Lorcan. As sappy as it is, I love Lottie's story of empowerment and realization because I identify wit...
Aw. It was more interesting to read about Lorcan and Fliss than about Lottie. Ugh. What the hell did she saw in Ben? The book was amusing, though. It made me laugh. Sophie Kinsella's books always did.

I hate her Shopaholic series (oh okay, I’ve only managed to stomach one of those novels) but her stand alone novels are usually pretty lovely. Wedding Night is the fourth stand alone novel I’ve read to date and although it had it’s cha...
