Ok well then. That was entertaining. I'm not sure what to think of a hero who is described as having a face like a catcher's mitt with a jaw though. I really liked seeing Nick and Tess in this one, although I really wasn't expecting it. I've noticed Crusie's books are set in the same place (Riverbend) or at least close to said town.

Entertaining who-done-it story that at first it seemed like plot overshadowed romance but it was so funny and eventually romance kicked in. Dressed to seduce, Mae walks into detective Mitch's office to hire him to solve a murder.
Witty and fun with a bit of mystery thrown in, me likey (lol). Jennifer Crusie's writing continues to entertain and amuse me. It was good to see Tess and Nick again.
