The more of these types of books I read , the more confused I become. That wheat is processed differently and that wheat may be the culprit in the current obesity crisis is I guess possible. I think maybe alot of it has to do with the fact that we just move less. Quite a bit less. Our parents may no...

I am on record as not being an advocate of all-or-nothing diets and this one is in that line. I know fully how restrictive gluten-free is, I have to live that life due to a very strenuous gluten allergy and it can be terribly hard. He confirmed my belief that there is too much gluten in things and...

2.5 stars.I'm not necessarily disagreeing with much of what the author writes, but much of his evidence is not scientifically backed-up even though he goes into quite a few scientific explanations in the book. The author often says things like 'research was never done in this area' or 'research need...

Starting this today. I suffer from excessive bloating 2 weeks out of the month. I exercise a lot, and yet can't seem to get rid of the "bump". Wheat allergy? We'll see how it goes!

The proof is in the pudding. Highly recommend every person reads this with an open mind. The book isn't perfect, as scientific research is still laking in some areas, but if you try giving up wheat, you'll be convinced. After about a month and a half off of wheat, I'm down 10 pounds and don't fee...

Interesting ideas, bad writing. Repetition may work in public speaking, but its just annoying in a book.

This goes against everything I've ever been taught about dieting but it makes so much sense that I can't help but believe. I'm off too clean out my cupboards and refrigerator and toss all those "wheat" things. Here's hoping this works and I can lose my "wheat belly".

I'll start with what I liked - the history, and the speculation that modern wheat might cause some of the medical problems because of its genetic design. Unfortunately, the author left his point after the first chapter to write a diet book, and not a very good one. Little science, an overabundance o...
